The author of this blog, Kat, is a woman who lives in rural Northwest New Jersey, USA, where she has lived most of her life. She is a writer, nature lover, and enjoys learning about cultures and traditions of the world. She enjoys life apart from the distractions of the commercial “real world,” and prefers to strive for a simple, deliberate, and experience-rich existence. She is not a “professional” anything, but holds onto her amateur status rather tightly, noting that Olympic champions of the past, were not allowed to be professionals. All she shares in this blog is from her own failures and triumphs, avid study, and listening to her inner voice, which she assures everyone, doesn’t require psychiatric care.
